Light and Happiness

I remember the day I said

"Starting today,

I choose to be happy".

It was many years ago.

A day does not go by that I don't

thank my Father in Heaven

for all the good things in my life.

Even when life seems to not be so cheery,

I thank Him for...

my testimony

my husband

my children

my grand-children

my parents

my family

my Miss Cally Mew Mew

flowers

hot water

music

the furnace

a washing machine and dryer

a dependable car

peace where I live

good people

good food

good water
babies
puppies
kittens

and the list goes on and on.

And that is the path

to happiness for me.

Gratitude.
And chocolate.
