I like uplifting blogs and limit myself to these three.

NieNie published about her daughter Claire's birthday today and

blogged about her newly 14 year old's favorite quote.

This is 14 year old Claire.

She is a beauty and looks just like her mom pre-fire.

 "Little Princess" by Frances-Hodgson-Burnett.

"I am a princess.

All girls are.

Even if they live in tiny old attics.

Even if they dress in rags, even if they aren't pretty,

or smart, or young.

They're still princesses."

NieNie with her family before she was burned over 80% of her face and body...

(her hubby had burns as well, just not as much)

and after....

Being a princess can simply mean being a Disney character,

or 

in my eyes,

being a daughter of royalty.

In other words,

a daughter of God.

So, I agree with this quote.

As children (daughters and sons) 

of our Heavenly Father we are all royalty.

We have a divine legacy.

We have individual worth.

We are born of heavenly

royalty.

Oh India Arie, I love you!

Yeah!!!!  You ARE a queen, lady!
