A Happy Monday to Ya

Some more of my favorite autochrome
pictures from the 1920's.
i simply can't get enough of these!!!

They were taken in France.

She Walks In Beauty by Lord Byron
She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling place.

And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,

A heart whose love is innocent!

Hey, it's Monday!!!
Lift your chin and love the day,
you little cutie pies!

Have a happy day!
I can't hear this song and not join in...

              Psalm 118:24New King James Version (NKJV)

This is the day the Lord has made;

We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Sending sunshine and joy your way...

  1. The picture of the young girl sitting in the chair makes me wonder what she was thinking. She looks so deep in thought.
