My dad was a big fan of Ogden Nash.

He quoted him often, and it made me love words

as much as my dad loved words!

This picture makes me happy cuz I think of my dad with my own grand children

(he passed away before he could meet them).

He would have gotten such a kick out of them.

So back to Ogden Nash.

My dad always quoted this one to me when I was a kid:

The Turtle

I have always said that Goio has a personality larger than life.

Goio in AZ at DeLucas.  I use to LOVE these little statues

when I was a toddler, and have a pictures somewhere of me

standing by them (I am in my underwear).

I covered the lady just cuz in my older years she

seems a little obscene.  ; )

Good thing she has  personality to match

her brother.

She is a HOOT!
